COLEY O'BRIEN

EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer

Coley O’Brien is EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer for Builders FirstSource. He leads all human resources functions for Builders FirstSource, including talent acquisition and development, compensation and total rewards, employee engagement, and people information systems.

Mr. O’Brien has more than 25 years of experience in human resources and operations training. He joined Builders FirstSource in May 2026 from The Wendy’s Company, where he held leadership roles in human resources and operations training since 2007. Most recently, he served as Chief People Officer, leading global HR strategy, innovation and people systems.

Mr. O’Brien earned a master’s degree in instructional systems technology and a bachelor’s degree in education and computing from Indiana University.
